[Men's Volleyball] Four Bees named to all-academic men's volleyball team

CHICAGO --- Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference men's volleyball frontrunner Cardinal Stritch University also came away with the most all-academic selections when the announcement was made by the league office Wednesday morning. The Wolves, who held a commanding 2.5-match lead when play was suspended on March 12 due to the coronavirus pandemic, collected eight of the 25 spots on the team.

Saint Xavier University gained runner-up distinction with its six honorees followed by St. Ambrose University with four and Viterbo University with three. The rest of the field was made up of two individuals from Robert Morris University Illinois and one each from Judson University and Trinity Christian College.

The four Bees on the team were Adam Campbell, Avery Clark, Dylan Herridge and Jake Snyder.

Four members of the team boasted a perfect 4.00 cumulative grade point average with five returnees on the squad from one year ago, including three three-time selections.

To be nominated for the award, a student-athlete must have been enrolled at his respective CCAC school for a minimum of one academic year, have completed at least 30 semester hours and boast no less than a 3.25 cumulative grade point average.
