[Volleyball] Volleyball to open conference tournament run against Point

MONTREAT, N.C. – Volleyball is set to take on No. 2 seed Point University in the first round of the Appalachian Athletic Conference tournament Thursday, Nov. 8 at 2:15 p.m. ET. The tournament has an eight-team, single-elimination format, and the three-day event takes place at the MeadowView Marriott Convention Center in Kingsport, Tenn.

Since the league was divided into two divisions, a point system was used to determine the seedings. Teams received .5 point for a win over a team within their division and 1 point for a win versus a team from the other division for a maximum possible 13 points.

In their regular-season meeting, the Cavs dropped a four-setter to the Skyhawks (18-25, 17-25, 25-20, 12-25) on Sept. 22.
