[Volleyball] Bearcats cage Tigers

Brescia Women's volleyball opened day two of the K.W.C. Invitational with a four set win over the Tigers of Maryville-St. Louis. 25-22, 25-18, 24-26, 25-19. The Bearcats were led in kills by freshman outside hitter Melissa Bell who recorded 21 kills on 53 attempts and only 5 errors. The freshman also came up big in the assist category for the Lady Bearcats with Brittney Just recording 39 assists. The defense was anchored by sophomore libero Kristin Logsdon who was able to record 37 digs. Also, helping to the ball in play was Junior Natalie Jones (21), Karis Hortin (10), and Kailee Moore (10).

The Lady Bearcats are back in action tonight for the final game of the K.W.C. Invitational. Brescia will face off against the Panthers of K.W.C. to end the weekend. First serve is around 7:00 p.m.
