[Volleyball] Lady Lions hand Tigers their first loss
Georgetown College volleyball suffered its first set back Saturday against Southwestern Assemblies of God University. The No. 17 Tigers (6-1) had several service errors late in set one that proved to be the difference and struggled to climb out of the hole from there. They fell 25-23, 25-20, 9-25, 25-15.
"It was a quick turnaround against a really tough team," said GC coach Felicia Pace. "We showed life not to go down in three, but just couldn't get over that hump in set four.
"We clean up a few things in a few sets and maybe the score is different, but at the end of the day the Lady Lions were playing well and just doing the little things right."
