[Women's Volleyball] Home Winning-Streak Snapped in Tournament Split
LA CROSSE, Wis. – The #4-ranked Viterbo University split their two games on the final day of the Viterbo Holiday Inn Express Preseason Tournament. The V-Hawks were upset by unranked University of St. Francis (Ind.) in four sets (20-25, 22-25, 27-25, 24-26), but came back to defeat Our Lady of the Lake University (Receiving Votes) in four sets (18-25, 25-22, 25-11, 27-25) at R.W. Beggs Senior Gymnasium on Saturday.
The loss in the morning game snapped a 66-game home winning streak (regular or postseason), dating back to October 31, 2012. It was the first meeting between Viterbo and St. Francis.
