[Women's Volleyball] Grand View Women's Volleyball Tops Heart of America Conference Preseason ...

Kansas City, MO-- The 2018 pre-season conference volleyball rankings have been released.  Last year's defending regular season and conference tournament champion sit atop the first ranking this season.  The first place Vikings are led by 2017 conference coach of the year, Tina Carter, who is entering her 11th season as head coach of the women's volleyball program. 

Carter and the Vikings return four all-conference preformers from last year.  The Vikings who finished the 2017 season 19-0 in conference play and 34-8 overall will be led this year by Courtney Twit (SR/West Des Moines, IA), Kelsey Redmond (SR/Iowa Falls, IA), Jordyn Rittman (SR/Ankeny, IA), and Megan Miller.

THE SEASON BEGINS...

The Vikings begin their 2018 campaign on the road for their first eight matches of the year beginning on August 24th.  They have their first match at home on September 7th versus Dordt College.  First serve is scheduled for 7:30pm.
