[Men's Volleyball] SAU gets CCAC win at Trinity Christian
St. Ambrose got back to .500 in CCAC play with a 3-1 win at Trinity Christian Tuesday night.
Five different Bees had at least seven kills in the 25-20, 25-17, 23-25, 25-15 win that moved the team to 6-3 overall and 1-1 in the conference.
After winning the first two sets, SAU stumbled a bit in the third before recovering to close out the match in four.
Scott MacGillis led all players with 14 kills. Levi Vermuelen had 12, Jaylen Clark finished with nine and Zach Schmidt and Riley Anderson each collected seven. The Bees finished with 58 kills against just 15 errors for a .387 hitting percentage. Trinity Christian (2-5, 0-2 CCAC) as a team had just 30 kills.
Royer was credited with 49 assists and four of SAU's eight aces in the win. Anderson had 14 digs.
