MANILA, Sept. 17 (Xinhua) -- Trkiye pulled off one of the biggest surprises of the 2025 FIVB Volleyball Men's World Championship on Wednesday, sweeping Canada to secure first place in Pool G.
Ranked 16th in the world, Trkiye stunned world No. 8 Canada with a 3-0 (25-21, 25-16, 27-25) victory, climbing to 13th in the world rankings.
