Chinese Women's Volleyball Super League begins second phase

JIANGMEN, China, Dec. 15 (Xinhua) -- Shanghai beat Zhejiang 3-0 and Tianjin smashed Shenzhen 3-0 on Wednesday here in the opening round of the Chinese Women's Volleyball Super League's second phase.

Following the end of the first phase, all 14 Super League teams were redrawn into two new groups, with the strongest three sides from each first phase group to play the bottom four sides from the other group.
