[Volleyball] Bears drop 3-1 decision to Patriots (21-25, 21-25, 25-19, 22-25)

The volleyball program at Shawnee State got another double-double performance from Macie Rhoads (21 digs, 15 kills) as well as 23 combined kills from Haidyn Wamsley and Bethany Colling, but fell in a four-set defeat to Cumberlands, Ky. (21-25, 21-25, 25-19, 22-25) Wednesday evening in a Mid-South Conference match that was held in Williamsburg, Ky.

SSU (11-6, 2-5 MSC) posted 59 kills to Cumberlands' 55, and outdug the Patriots by a 79-69 count, but were outblocked by a 23-13 margin. As a result, Shawnee State hit just .171 on the attack compared to Cumberlands' .253 mark.
