Jordan Thompson of Edina is named to U.S. women's volleyball team for the Olympics

Jordan Thompson, 24, was the only Minnesotan selected. Former Gophers Tori Dixon, Hannah Tapp and Sarah Wilhite Parsons are among six alternates.
