U Sports and Canada West announce further cancellations

On Oct. 15, U Sports announced they would be cancelling all nine of their winter national championships. The sports affected include hockey, swimming, wrestling, basketball, volleyball, and track and field. These cancellations come amid the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic in many provinces, and the closure of some facilities.
