[AU] NAIA Scholar Teams Announced

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Demonstrating their competitiveness in the classroom as well as on the field, teams in 11 of Avila's 14 eligible sports earned NAIA Scholar Team status for the 2018-19 school year. In order to be recognized as a Scholar Team awardwinner, squads must earn a GPA of 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale across the fall and spring semesters. Volleyball led all teams, with an impressive 3.403 for the year.
