[Volleyball] Point Volleyball Opens 2018 with Two Losses at CCG Invitational

BRUNSWICK, Ga. – Point University (0-2) opened the 2018 volleyball season with losses in a pair of close encounters at the College of Coastal Georgia Mariner Invitational, Aug. 17-18, in Brunswick, Ga.  Point lost 25-21, 25-21 and 25-23 against Coastal Georgia (3-0) and lost to University of St. Francis (2-0) from Fort Wayne, Indiana, 26-24, 25-19 and 25-18 in a late night match.  In Saturday action at the Mariner Invitational, Point takes on Hastings College (Neb.) at 11 a.m. and Faulkner University (Ala.) at 3:30 p.m.
