Mud, mud, glorious mud

Deal Tri runners do the muddy, hilly, off road stuff again!
Marika Landy loves a good challenge and our friends at @runbelievablechallenges deliver exactly that. The Cheese Chase was a 6 hour challenge to do as many (or as few) laps of 4.37 miles as you can – 6 laps is a marathon distance, with complementary mud and hills! Marika knocked out another half marathon as she has her eye on more similar challenges.
Next up is Marika again, an impulsive decision to sign up for a Backyard Ultra, alongside another Dealie, Karen Ash. This Backyard Ultra (BYU), hosted by the excellent @hellfire.events.official, was a lap of 4.16 miles, every hour, on the hour, until 1 person is left – tough stuff.
