Summer Duathlon Series – Round 3

A great night of racing was enjoyed by our 20 members and guests, who took part in round 3 of our Summer Duathlon Series at Betteshanger Park and surprise, surprise it was a warm evening to race in!

It was a pleasure to welcome junior guest Jonson Foster who was joining us his first duathlon with us and a great performance was seen with him having the fastest run splits of the evening. Also, a welcome back to Kier Williams and of course thank you to all our guests who continue to support the duathlon.

Congratulations to our overall winner Stuart Gibson who finished in an impressive time of 00:50:30 and Jill Cliff who was our overall winning lady in 00:55:15.

Welcome to our new member Ian Humphreys who joined us after taking part in round 2 who also had a PB 00:56:29 beating round 2’s time by just over 2 minutes.

Round 10 is Thursday 10th July, can I please ask you to arrive by 6pm because we need to ensure the main gate is shut (because the park is closed to the public) and could I just remind you all that the entry fee has been increased to £6 for members and £8 for guests.
