Sunday 6th July.

Lilyroos, opposite The Coach, Sandwich Rd.

Dave Herriott, owner of Lilyroos, is a long time friend of Ian Pettitt, and Ian worked at Lilyroos for Dave for some years.

Dave is installing a memorial bench for Ian, at the edge of the camping area, between 2 trees, facing the sunrise .

Dave is inviting Ian’s family, many friends and Club members, to join together on 6th July.

We’ve got a couple of runs and rides planned and then Dave will do a £10 lunch of baked potato, salad … and baked beans, as Ian himself would probably want!

Runs:

1. Meet at Lilyroos for 0920, 0930 away, 5 miles – thank you to Simon Read and Yvonne for planning.

2. Meet at Lilyroos at 0820 for 0830 away, 5 miles then back to Lilyroos to join the second group for their 5 miler – thank you to Bronwen, for planning.

Cyclists:

Meet at Lilyroos 0920 for 0930 away – Simon Best will advise on routes etc.

Everyone back for 11-1130ish for lunch and drinks.

Please let me know if you can make it for food (no problem if you’d just like to drop in for a drink)
