Our duathlons sessions are a great way to take the next step into the world of Tri and we would like to encourage members who are still thinking about it, just to be brave and just give it duathlon ago, you will not be disappointed! Therefore, we offer 2 distances firstly, our Novice Section that has continued to go from strength to Strength with many having a go, which is why we plan to continue it in this series. The duathlon series are not intended to be full on ‘races’, more about being a friendly, safe training opportunity with an element of competition built in! As always the duathlons will be open to both club members and guests.

Information
- Full Duathlon Distance:1.9 mile run, 10.1 mile(5 laps) cycle and 1.9 mile run
- Novice Duathlon Distance: 1.9 mile run, 6 mile (3 laps) cycle and 1.25 mile run
- Entry Cost: For both distances are adult members £5/ non-members £7 and for our juniors £5
- Juniors: Are most welcome to take part but it is paramount that they are 14yrs or over and are competent cyclists
- Start time: Is 18:30pm with the registration opening at the trackside shelter from 17:45am (Just to advise, we do when possible start a little earlier than 18:30am)
- Pre-booking: Is essential because there is no on the day entry and can be done by emailing Margaret Reidy – secretary@dealtri.co.uk and can be made uptil 3pm on Wednesday 28th May Payments must be made prior to the event and into the club’s account: DEAL TRI (must be capitals) 40-16-11 62656922 ref name/duathlon
- Park Parking: There are no parking fees topay if attending the duathlon however, your registration number is required.
