British Super Series 2025
First round in Llanelli saw Alex Dack racing the full sprint distance for the first time and also first time racing with the seniors (juniors and seniors together). Alex finished 6th junior (under 20s) and really pleased with this solid season opener.
3000m Birmingham Uni BMC Meet
Earlier in the week at Birmingham Uni, Alex had a fantastic 3000m race. First track race of the season and stormed to 1st place in a new pb of 8.13 and qualification for the English Schools Track and Field champs in July!

Lanzarote Ironman
Well done Pete Hogben for a fantastic race yesterday, finishing in 10 hours 12 mins 12 seconds, 11th in age, 80th overall. His splits were 60.08 for the swim, 5:50:30 for the bike and 3:13:03 for the marathon. Pete is really pleased with his race given the hot and windy conditions on what is already a tough hilly course. Well done Pete!!

Long Course Netherlands
Dave Mitchell was our sole entry in this LC new edition, and what a great race it sounds! Lovely venue in Maastricht and great atmosphere. Dave completed the Half distance in all disciplines, finishing 17th out of the swim in 35 mins, 19th after the bike leg, and 57th after the Half marathon today, run in 2hrs mins.
Don’t forget to check out LC Belgium in September! Quite a few of us signed up already, all distances to suit. Great race Dave!

Outlaw Half Holme Pierrepont
Marika Landy and Sharon Taylor braved the cold this morning to race in Nottingham today. Thankfully the water was warm!
Sharon completed the 1900m swim in 46:13, the 56 mile bike 3:27, and the Half marathon in 2:23. 6 hours 49 mins 5 seconds. Well done Sharon!
Marika completed the swim in 1 hour 13 mins, a massive achievement for Marika who is relatively new to open water swimming. She then went on to complete the bike in 5 hours 6 mins and finished there. Fantastic effort Marika! You have both done us proud.

Sevenoaks Triathlon
One of our favourite Kent races also took place yesterday, with a 400m swim, 25km bike, and a 5km run. A nice, friendly atmosphere and a hilly bike and run course sums up this race! Eryka Smith came 4th in age in the sprint tri in 1 hour 40 mins with a 9:55 swim, 56:06 bike and a 30:36 run, unfortunately getting cramp on the run. Well done Eryka!
Sevenoaks Aquabike
For the non-runners amongst us, this is perfect! Danny Frost finished 4th out of all the aquabikers, in 59:44 (swim 7:47, bike 50:21) with Ian McMahon soon after in 7th in 1:05:24 (swim 7:18, bike 55:28). Great racing guys!
