July round up

Megan Halvey traveled to Lanesboro and won the girls 11-12 Age Group at the Two Provinces Kidathon.

Well done to Robbie Bannon, Dermot Hayes and Wayne Clifford raced the  Kilkenny Sprint triathlon.

Huge congratulations to Clíona Mc Carthy & Izabela Tomaszewicz at the HARDMAN Half in Waterville. This was Clíona’s first time at the distance and she had a fab day out!

At the Cork City Triathlon – a competitive sprint in the National Series, was a fast and furious lapped course. Well done to Declan Forde, Bernard Loughlin (Age Group Silver ) and Helen Hartigan (Age Group Gold)

Congratulations to Róisín Kelleher on a 5th place finish for an Age Group gold at Sundays ‘Top of the Mourne’ NS Olympic distance. David Jeffreys also had a super race after a 12 month break.

Tri-Tyrone middle distance. William O’Shaughnessy smashed his first 70.3 coming home in 4:48 with a PB half marathon. Angela Robertson was 4th lady over the line for an Age Group win, with Sinéad Walsh in 11th taking Age Group 3rd. Mike Clancy put in another fine performance.

Junior athletes Megan Halvey and Kate Laffan were in action at the Trilogy TC Junior Aquathlon, coming in 2nd and 3rd in the 12-13 age group.
