The men's tennis program at Shawnee State fell to West Virginia State Thursday evening by a 5-2 count.
Duarte Melo, who defeated Paulo Gutierrez by a 6-3, 6-4 at No. 1 singles, and Aiden White, who posted a 6-1, 4-6, 6-2 victory over Alexander Anderson at No. 6 singles, scored SSU's only two victories in the match.
