RODOLFO Reyes Jr. triggered a golden start for the Philippine taekwondo team after ruling the men’s individual recognized poomsae (forms) on Saturday at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium inside the Rizal Memorial Sports Complex in Manila.
Reyes, a two-time gold medalist in the team event, registered 8.349 points to beat Thailand’s Samueang Pattarapong (8.199) and Myanmar’s Shine Sun (7.849). JEREMIAH M. SEVILLA
