It was a major setback for China in the table tennis segment, as their celebrated table tennis star Wang Chuqin crashed out of the first round of the singles event recently. However, right before this, Chuqin discovered that his paddle had been broken amid a rush from photographers. Conspiracy theorists meanwhile, cried foul play.
