Ukraine wins 2 gold, 5 silver, 4 bronze medals on 6th day of Tokyo Paralympics
Ukrainian athletes on the sixth day of the Paralympic Games in Tokyo won two gold, five silver, four bronze medals, increasing the total number of awards won at the Paralympics to 54.
Thus, the “gold” was won by swimmer Andriy Trusov (backstroke at a distance of 100 meters) and tennis player Maryna Lytovchenko (table tennis).
“Silver” was won by tennis player Viktor Didukh (table tennis), shooter Andriy Doroshenko (bullet shooting from an air rifle at ten-meter standing), swimmer Mykhailo Serbin (200 m complex), as well as athletes Igor Tsvetov (athletics, 100 m) and Yana Lebedeva (athletics, discus throwing).
Bronze awards were won by Irina Shchetnik (standing 10 m air rifle bullet shooting), swimmers Andrey Trusov, Denis Dubrov, Yuri Bozhinsky, and Maxim Kripak (team victory, swimming, 4×100 m relay), as well as athletes Roman Pavlik (athletics, jumping in length) and Zoya Yevsey (athletics, discus throwing).
