[Swimming & Diving] St. Ambrose tabbed as CSCAA Scholar All-America Team

The St. Ambrose men's and women's swimming and diving programs were named Scholar All-America Teams by the College Swimming & Diving Association of America (CSCAA) on Tuesday.

The women's team earned the honor with a 3.49 GPA while the men were recognized with a 3.51 GPA. The St. Ambrose men had the second-highest GPA among all NAIA schools.

CSCAA Executive Director has this to say about St. Ambrose, "Coach Miecznikowski is preparing this team for success into the future."

In total, 731 teams were selected from 441 institutions. Teams were selected on the basis of their Spring 2022 grade point averages, and represent 17,845 student-athletes. Individual scholar-athlete All-America honors will be announced in the coming weeks.

Founded in 1922, the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA), is the nation's first organization of college coaches. The mission of the CSCAA is to advance the sport of swimming and diving with coaches at the epicenter of leadership, advocacy, and professional development.
