London Named to SEC Community Service Team

Fayetteville, Ark.- University of Arkansas swimmer Maddie London has been named to the 2021 Southeastern Conference Women’s Swimming & Diving Community Service Team.

The sophomore from Collierville, Tenn. has made a big impact since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, she wrote letters to Mercy Hospital frontline workers, Elm Croft Assisted Living Center and to Providence Assisted Living Center.

London has been a part of several different community service events with the Razorbacks. She completed an hour-long zoom chat with the Arkansas Children’s Hospital and is an active member of the Book Hogs, reading to Holcombe Elementary. The sophomore swimmer also volunteered and collected items to donate to the Battered Women’s Shelter. She finished the spring semester of 2020 by making the Dean’s List.

London and her teammates begin competition for the SEC Championships today, with the final events wrapping up on Saturday February 20th.
