Nicole Smith – New Satellites Lead Coach
The responsibility of developing swimmers at our satellite pools located at Cranmore School, Guildford High School, Notre Dame School and St Catherine’s School is to be united under one Lead Coach from 1 November. We are delighted to announce that Nicole Smith has been appointed to this position.
Although only Cranmore School Pool will be open in November, we have arranged for water time at both Spectrum and Surrey Sports Park as an alternative to the other facilities until they come back online.
Nicole was a national swimmer, has 2 young daughters and has been actively coaching and teaching at the Guildford City Academy since 2017. She has taught at both Spectrum and St Catherine’s, so has a clear understanding of the requirements, values and expectations of our junior swimmers.
Nicole has a first-class degree in primary teaching and is passionate about delivering quality education – both in the classroom and in the pool.
