The Cambridge University student struggled to get clear as the bully bird was joined by its partner and cygnets.

But he was eventually helped out of the water by pals on the banks.

An onlooker said: “It looked like a comedy sketch. He tried to climb out but slid back in.

“The swan was getting more and more angry.”

Asbaby — who got his name after pecking punters around Cambridge — is the third generation angry bird.

Grandad Mr Abso was moved to a secret location by authorities in 2012 following a string of attacks on rowers.

And dad Asboy began his reign of terror a year later — going after  punters, birds and a cow, as well as injuring a canoeist and a swimmer.
