Windy but bigger too

Hello Friends,
10-12 kts of ESE wind bumping it up for the morning crew at Dee Why. Swell at sea was 1.4 metres at 12 seconds from 151° as of 0800. Waves looked to be shoulder high-ish on sets along the beach. Water is on 23C and Beachwatch found conditions were clean pretty much everywhere. Too bad about the onshores. Weather should stay showery through the day, but tomorrow looks better. Tide was high at 0455 and will be back to low at 1140/
Speaking of tomorrow, it might be less choppy for the first few hours of daylight on Thursday, plus the swell should be at similar energy levels again.

Weather Situation
A low pressure system near the southern Queensland coast will move south to southeast over the coming days, with strong winds and large waves for northern coastal waters gradually easing as it moves away. Meanwhile, a high pressure system over the southern Tasman Sea will maintain a weak ridge across the south until the tail end of a cold front brushes the southern coast on Friday bringing a south to southwesterly change.
