Small waves for Saturday but you’ll need to look around

0 5

Hello Friends,

Most places were too small to surf this morning, but spots with reasonable exposure to the south were seeing set wave faces into the chest plus range. It was pretty inconsistent and junky though. Tide is currently dropping to a low at 1150 and wind was coming faintly from the SSW as of 0630. Wind is set to pick up as it drifts to the SSE. So, your best bet is to hit it earlier rather than later if you can.

Surf outlook isn’t too exciting for the rest of the weekend and into the new week. Basically we’re looking at mainly straight south swell in the 1-1.5 m range with shortish periods and onshores by late morning.

Have yourself a fun Saturday everyone!
