Jaiswal overtakes McCullum for this world record
Yashasvi Jaiswal hit two sixes in his unbeaten 90 on the second day of the first Test against Australia in Perth, becoming the batter with the most Test sixes in a calendar year. He surpassed Brendon McCullum's record of 33 sixes, ending the day on 34 sixes in 12 Tests in 2024.
