Pacific Season 2 of Call of Duty: Warzone and Vanguard has been delayed

0 5

Call of Duty: Warzone  and Vanguard  Pacific Season 2 has been delayed to Feb. 14, 2022, as Activision Blizzard addresses stability issues.

On Wednesday, a post on Call of Duty’s  blog went into some detail as to why Pacific Season 2 is no longer coming out on Feb. 2, 2022.

“We feel your frustrations and hear you loud and clear. To date, we’ve deployed a number of updates, but more needs to be done,” the statement reads. “For this reason, we have decided to reschedule the start of Season Two across Warzone Pacific  and Vanguard  to Feb. 14. We will use this additional development time to deliver updates, including optimizations to gameplay, game balancing, to fix game stability and bugs, and to ensure an overall level of polish to improve the experience for players across VanguardWarzone PacificBlack Ops Cold War, and Modern Warfare.”

One of the issues alluded to here is players  turning invisible in Call of Duty: Warzone. So while there might be some disappointment over the delay, it’s probably for the best.

Activision Blizzard’s post also claims Call of Duty  fans can expect more communication going forward. It’s all part of improving everyone’s experience playing with initiatives like  Ricochet anti-cheat.

On Tuesday, Microsoft bought Activision Blizzard — a move that’s leaving many  industry professionals reeling still.
