Jose Aldo offered another reminder why he’s an all-time great Saturday when he bested Rob Font in the main event of UFC on ESPN 31.
After a shaky start, Aldo (31-7 MMA, 13-6 UFC) took over the action against Font (19-5 MMA, 9-4 UFC) and proved to be one step ahead en route to a unanimous decision win at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.
After starting 0-2 in the UFC’s bantamweight division, Aldo has now reeled off three consecutive victories against high-level competition in Font, Pedro Munhoz and Marlon Vera. “Scarface” has made it clear he wants to wear UFC gold again and called for a definitive No. 1 contender fight with T.J. Dillashaw after his win.
