Right up until the moment he wasn’t, Gregory Rodrigues was on his way to losing against Jun Yong Park before a come-from-behind knockout in the final UFC Vegas 41 prelim.

Park had Rodrigues cornered against the cage and appeared one shot away from a concussive win. Then in the middle of the attack, Rodrigues found the chin first and sent Park reeling backward, setting up a KO at the 3:13 mark of the second round at UFC APEX in Las Vegas.

Check out video of the insane comeback below.

Park came out hot in the second round after spending the bulk of the first frame defending a choke from his back. Rodrigues, whose knockout loss to Jordan Williams on the Contender Series delayed his UFC debut, expertly used his jiu-jitsu to maintain control through every scramble. That left his jaw the most attractive target for Park, who rotated Rodrigues’ head with an early shot in the second.

A desperation takedown attempt nearly gave Park the counter submission win. He couldn’t stay on top, however, and soon both fighters were back on their feet. Swinging wildly with little regard for technique, the middleweights exchanged hard shots. Park appeared to get the better of it and closed in for the kill, only to take a right hand that changed the fight in an instant. With another uppercut and left straight, Park was out on his feet, and referee Keith Peterson stepped in to stop the action.

Rodrigues has now won four straight fights and his second straight trip to the octagon. Park sees a three-fight UFC streak snapped.
