Video: Australian amateur fighter launches opponent off feet with brutal head kick KO

0 6

Violence was in the air at this past weekend’s Urban Fight Night 24. The Australian regional show featured both professional and amateur fights that brought some brutality from beginning to end.

By now, you’ve probably seen the “calf kick from hell” that made the rounds earlier this week. That took place in the main event. But that wasn’t the only grotesquely violent kick of the night. Way earlier, on the first prelim of the night, Dean Tromans added a kick finish to his own highlight reel.

Shortly after the second round began, Tromans landed a hard high kick to the left side of the dome of his opponent, Bimo Adriano. The blow came at the same time Adriano attempted a kick of his own, which made for a wild visual, which you can watch in the video above.

The kick not only knocked Adriano off balance, it essentially launched him off his feet like Charlie Brown whiffing on the football for the zillionth time.

What goes up must come down – and Adriano was no different. Gravity planted Adriano square on his back. The impact snapped his head back as he laid out like a starfish.

The win was the first of Tromans’ amateur career – and what a way to get started? He’ll have a chance to replicate his highlight-reel knockout March 20 when he makes a quick turnaround at Eternal MMA 58.
