Andrea Lee vs. Antonina Shevchenko set for May 15 UFC event

Andrea Lee has a tough test ahead as she seeks to snap a career-worst skid.

MMA Fighting confirmed with sources with knowledge of the matchup that Lee (11-5) will face Antonina Shevchenko (9-2) in a flyweight bout at a May 15 event, which is expected to be UFC 262. The bout was first reported by MMA Junkie.

Following a seven-fight win streak that included decision wins in her first three UFC appearances, Lee now finds herself in the midst of a three-fight losing streak. She lost back-to-back split decisions to Joanne Calderwood and Lauren Murphy before dropping a unanimous decision to Roxanne Modafferi in her most recent outing this past September.

Shevchenko has alternated wins and losses in five UFC appearances so far. In her most recent fight, she defeated former KSW champion Ariane Lipski by second-round TKO and also holds UFC victories over Lucie Pudilova and Ji Yeon Kim.
