Running back Najee Harris signs on with Bay Area legend Marshawn Lynch

Najee Harris’ style of play has long drawn comparisons to hard-hitting running back Marshawn Lynch.

As he prepares for the upcoming NFL draft, Harris, the Alabama running back and former Antioch High star, will look to follow in the footsteps of his fellow Bay Area native.

On Tuesday, it was announced Harris has signed with Wasserman agents CJ LaBoy and Doug Hendrickson, longtime representatives of Lynch, according to the Sports Business Journal and Bleacher Report. He has also signed with Beast Mode Marketing, founded by the former Cal running back from Oakland.

Harris capped off his college career as one of the best running backs to ever play under coach Nick Saban. Harris leaves the Crimson Tide in sole possession of four all-time records: 3,843 rushing yards, 46 rushing touchdowns, 4,624 yards from scrimmage and 57 total touchdowns.
