Russia and Brazil will collide in the octagon when featherweights Zubaira Tukhugov and Ricardo Ramos fight each other at the upcoming UFC Fight Night event on March 13, multiple people with knowledge of the booking told MMA Fighting. TASS first reported the news.

Tukhugov (19-5-1) re-enters the octagon six months after a split decision loss to Hakeem Dawodu in Abu Dhabi, which dropped his UFC record to 4-2-1.

The former Fight Nights Global featherweight champion, who just turned 30 in January, kicked off his UFC career with a trio of wins between 2014 and 2015, but has only won once over his past four bouts, a first-round stoppage over Kevin Aguilar.

Ramos (14-3) also left a great impression in his first three UFC appearances, including a devastating knockout over Aiemann Zahabi at UFC 217 in New York, before going 2-2 since 2019 with wins over Eduardo Garagorri and Journey Newson.

“Carcacinha,” who challenged for the Legacy FC featherweight gold before joining the UFC in 2017, looks to get back on track after losing via first-round stoppage to Lerone Murphy this past July.

The UFC has yet to announce the exact location for the Fight Night event, which features Leon Edwards vs. Khamzat Chimaev as the headlining attraction. The card currently includes Jairzinho Rozenstruik vs. Cyril Gane and Dan Ige vs. Ryan Hall.
