Man Utd transfer news: Red Devils lead Liverpool in battle to sign Real Madrid ace Sergio Ramos, contract offer claim
MANCHESTER UNITED are among the favourites to sign Real Madrid’s Sergio Ramos.
The Red Devils are the most likely Premier League to sign the defender but they are fourth favourites in the bookies’ market.

Ramos’ contract at the Bernabeu is set to expire in June next year, meaning he can potentially leave for a cut price or for free.
Ramos will be eligible to discuss terms with clubs outside of Spain from January onwards and potentially complete a free transfer the following summer.
Man Utd are priced at 8/1 with Betfair, as they narrowly trail PSG (6/1) in the bookies’ market.
While a move to the MLS or China heads up the market, with a move Stateside looking most likely.
Liverpool follow next at 14/1 with Barcelona cheekily thrown in at an enormous 200/1.

Ramos, 34, has won 22 pieces of silverware during his 15-year stint at the Bernabeu.
He’s made 660 appearances for the club, winning five La Liga titles and the Champions League on four occasions.
But with his contract set to expire in June 2021 – there’s a possibility the Spanish World Cup winner could embark on a new adventure elsewhere.
Los Blancos’ club president Florentino Perez suggested he would not stand in the way of Ramos should he want to quit.
He said: “If you get a good offer, I understand that you will leave.”
Reports have suggested PSG would be willing to offer him a contract worth an eye-watering £54million after tax.
Spanish website Onda Cero has claimed that Ramos is currently studying offers from clubs based in England and Italy.
