ARSENAL fans have warned Thomas Partey he ‘will waste’ his prime years just like Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez after losing on his Emirates debut to Leicester.
Mikel Arteta’s new £40million man enjoyed a stellar full debut in the midweek Europa League win over Rapid Vienna.
Partey, 27, was immediately thrust into Arsenal’s starting XI for Sunday’s home clash against the Foxes alongside Dani Ceballos.
But he failed to make an impact as Jamie Vardy came off the bench to score an 80th minute winner for Leicester.
It was the Foxes’ first victory at Arsenal in 47 years.

And some Gunners fans believe Partey has made a big mistake leaving a club like Atletico Madrid for the Emirates.
Indeed, some even reckon he will now end up wasting his prime footballing years like Ozil and Sanchez.
The pair joined Arsenal from Real Madrid and Barcelona respectively, with both then regarded as world-class players.
But despite decent starts, their Emirates careers floundered.
And some supporters feel Partey is now destined for the same fate.
