Tip 2: Can you smell what Russ is cooking? – Seahawks (-3.5) @ Cardinals

The Cardinals haven’t had a litmus test for their post-season credentials so far, but they’ll get all that and more when the undefeated Seahawks roll into the desert this weekend.

It’s tough to know who the real Arizona are: Is it the big-time offence that put a beat down on the Cowboys? Or is it the defence that let a Christian McCaffrey-less Panthers rack up 444 yards?

The answer might well be both, and with the Seahawks D playing like a west-coast New York Jets, this could be a shootout of epic proportions.

But Seattle are well-rested after a bye week and have Russell Wilson playing like a person who was told in pre-season that he wasn’t the best QB in the league.

The Seahawks are first in passing TDs and come up against a team that are in the bottom half for points allowed. Putting that into consideration, it feels like they will win by more than four points in this inter-divisional clash.

Tip 3: Swash-Buc-ling Tampa – Buccaneers (-2.5) @ Raiders

If ever there was a game dripping in narrative… Jon Gruden faces the team he won the Super Bowl with, coaching the team he beat in that very game. Derek Carr faces off against the QB that was primed to potentially take his place in the summer.

Devin White is starting to show flashes of why he was picked fifth overall in 2019, Lavonte David is one of the most underrated players in the league, Jason Pierre-Paul and Ndamukong Suh are elite veterans gluing the whole unit together and that’s not even mentioning last season’s sack leader Shaq Barrett.

The Raiders have the 23rd-ranked offence, currently equal with the Jags and Bengals. Good luck getting any improvement on that this weekend. And did we mention that Tampa now have Mike Evans free of injury, Chris Godwin free of injury, and Rob Gronkowski scoring touchdowns? The Bucs win this one comfortably.
