LIVERPOOL snatched a dramatic late equaliser as Adam Lallana came off the bench to save them from defeat at Old TGrafford.

Jurgen Klopp’s side were outplayed for much of the game but still rescued a point as Lallana scored from close ranger to earn a 1-1 draw against Manchester United.

But the leaders were nowhere near their best form in a disappointing display as SunSport’s Duncan Wright delivers his ratings on their Old Trafford showing.

ALISSON BECKER

A welcome sight back in goal after injury, looked a little rusty early on. No chance with the goal, and a steady display from the Brazilian. 6

TRENT ALEXANDER-ARNOLD

Looked unsure in the opening quarter about where he needed to play – couldn’t decide whether to stay deep or push on, and found play bypassing him early on. Got no better as the game went on. 5

JOEL MATIP

Not the worst, but certainly not the best performance either from Matip. Lost Rashford for the first half goal and lacked command at the back. 6

VIRGIL VAN DIJK

Shrugged off cheaply in his first duel with Rashford, but then made amends with an excellent clearance from a Wan-Bissaka cross in to the six-yard box. Steady without being impressive. 6

ANDY ROBERTSON

Denied the space to move forward with freedom, coming out second best in his battle with Wan-Bissaka in the first half. Passing was off, but made a crucial contribution setting up the goal. 6

FABINHO

One of the players who lacked confidence on the ball, surprisingly, as Liverpool struggled to find their rhythm before the break. Usually so assured, a bad day at the office for a player of such quality. 5

JORDAN HENDERSON

Chased around a lot with little impact as Liverpool lost control of the game in the opening period.Made no impression after the break either and no surprise to be hooked. 5

GEORGINIO WIJNALDUM

One bright moment to beat two defenders and fire in a low shot at De Gea. Never stopped running though, the best of the disappointing midfielders. 6

DIVOCK ORIGI

So anonymous in the first 45 mins, his only contribution was to have been arguably fouled in the build-up to the Rashford goal. Saw even less of him in the 13 minutes in the second half before he was hauled off. 4

SADIO MANE

So often the  main man for Liverpool and was never found wanting for effort. But such was the lack of quality behind him, he struggled to get into the game. 6

ROBERTO FIRMINO

Snatched one half chance high and wide and then fluffed his effort with just De Gea to beat from the edge of the area. Made little impression on the game. 5

SUBS

ALEX OXLADE-CHAMBERLAIN (for Origi, 58mins) Made a difference with his driving runs, and went close with a shot. 7

ADAM LALLANA (for Handerson 70mins) Liverpool’s best player and was only on the pitch 20 minutes. Looked dangerous and scored the leveller. 7

NABY KEITA (for Wijnaldum (81mins)  6
