WATCH: LaVar Ball shuts down idea that sons sign with another shoe company

LaVar Ball is shutting down the idea that his sons will sign with a shoe and apparel company that is not his Big Baller Brand — or at least, he’s trying.

TMZ asked the Ball dad over the weekend about the prospect of his son’s penning endorsement deals with other companies. Specifically, LaVar spoke against the prospect of Lonzo doing so.

“Lonzo can think all day. He ain’t sign with nobody,” LaVar said. “Big Baller Brand. That’s what I said.”

The New Orleans Pelican point guard has not worn BBB shoes this year during the preseason and said on a recent episode of the family’s show “Ball in the family,” that he planned to not sign with any shoe company — including his dad’s.

Younger brother LaMelo, who is considered to be a legitimate Top 5 pick in the 2020 NBA Draft, has been wearing Nike KD 12’s in his recent games overseas. LaMelo said he would consider all endorsement options.
