Bulgarian FA reports €376K loss, calls for more state support
March 23 – The Bulgarian Football Union (BFU) has reported a financial loss for 2025 and is projecting to end the current year in the red as well, according to figures presented at the federation’s regular congress.
The federation’s revenues for 2025 were about €15.67 million, while expenditure exceeded that figure by around €376,000. The biggest cost was staff salaries, which totalled €3.66 million, followed closely by costs related to the national teams,
