Indian Super League given February start date after months of dispute
January 8 – After months of uncertainty and delays, the top-flight of Indian football is back, with season 12 of the Indian Super League now scheduled to kick off on February 14.
The league has been plagued by financial disagreement and legal dispute over rights representation. The loss earlier this month of City Football Group (owner of Manchester City) who exited Mumbai City FC, was not an endorsement of the league’s financial governance.
