Woman arrested for inciting violence against soldiers in Garu
The Upper East Regional Police Command has arrested a woman identified as Lariba Alhassan for allegedly inciting residents of Garu to attack and kill soldiers deployed to maintain peace in the area. Her arrest, which took place on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, follows the circulation of a viral audio recording in which she was heard calling on residents to engage in acts of violence against security personnel.
