Emissions levy: We’ll increase our fares – GPRTU
Ghana Private Road Transport Union (GPRTU) has disclosed that it will increase transport fares following the imposition of the Emissions Levy which took effect on Thursday, February 1, 2024. The Emissions Levy which is contained in the 2024 budget is in line with the government 39;s efforts aimed at tackling greenhouse gas emissions to promote the use of eco-friendly technology and green energy.
