Jake Paul Sobs as Fiancee Jutta Leerdam Wins Gold Medal in Speed Skating at Winter Olympics 2026

Jake Paul‘s fiancee just won her first gold medal.

Dutch speed skater Jutta Leerdam won gold in the Women’s 1000-meter race at the 2026 Winter Olympics on Monday (February 9) in Milan, Italy.

The 27-year-old athlete, who is competing with Team Netherlands, set an Olympic record with a time of 1:12.31.

After Jutta was announced the winner, Jake, 29, was seen up in the stands sobbing as he celebrated with her family.

Keep reading to find out more…While this is Jutta‘s first gold medal, it’s not her first win at the Olympics. At the 2022 Beijing Olympics, she won silver in this same category.

If you didn’t know, Jake and Jutta got engaged in March 2025 after two years of dating.
