Chinese Ning claims men's 1500m silver at speed skating World Cup
OTTAWA, Dec. 9 (Xinhua) -- Ning Zhongyan of China won the silver medal in the men's 1,500 meters in the speed skating World Cup in Calgary on Friday.
Ning clocked one minute and 42.957 seconds, only 0.027 seconds behind Wesly Dijs of the Netherlands, for his third podium finish of this season. He had collected a gold in the men's 1,000m in Heerenveen and a bronze in the men's 1,500m in Stavanger.
