[Softball] Boffeli and Trellicoso named to all-tourney team at CCAC Tournament

Anna Boffeli and Julie Trellicoso were named to the all-tournament team at the season-ending CCAC Tournament.

The two helped St. Ambrose reach the second day of the league tournament before the Bees' season came to a close with a loss to Cardinal Stritch.

SAU had its back up against the wall following a 3-0 loss to Purdue Northwest Thursday.

Managing just four hits and committing the same number of errors were too much to overcome. Purdue Northwest scored an unearned run in the third inning and added another unearned run as part of a two-run fifth inning. Trellicoso and Christina Pembrook each had two hits to account for the St. Ambrose offense.

Ashley Yattoni took the loss despite allowing just four hits and one earned run over five innings. Sam Flerlage struck out one in an inning of relief.
